The original release in The UK saw the first of 2 promo videos for the track. For this release Howard is walking through the streets of London with Trevor Morais, Martin Jones, & Afrodiziak .
When the single was released in the US, a new animated video was made, which can be seen on the Last World Dream video and on this website.
In Japan, the title caused a bit of a stir as it was loosely translated as "I would like to force myself upon you"!!

I.G.Y. was written and originally recorded by Donald Fagan and can be found on his 1982 album "The Nightfly". The track which Howard recorded was to be the last single to be released on the Warner label and also to be the last 7" single to be released.
I.G.Y is short for International Geophysical Year. (IGY) was an 18-month period from July, 1957, through Dec., 1958 where the world was hooked on Science and technology.
